Ringing coming through on local device speakers rather than headphones
Posted on 23 December 2024 by Beaming SupportIf you are having the above issue, then we will take you through the following steps in order to ensure that the ringing of your Webex for BeamRing service comes through on your headphones rather than your local speakers.
1.Open the Webex App.
2. Click “Settings” in the bottom left (as shown below).
3. On the Settings menu, click “Audio”.
4. When within the Audio settings menu, ensure that all settings are using your “Headphones”, if you have a USB headset, you can unplug your device and plug it back in to identify which disappears and re-appears to ensure you are setting them correctly.
5. Once complete, press “Save” to save the change.
