How to download the Webex App
Posted on 18 August 2021 by Beaming SupportIn addition to using a desktop or portable phone in the office, all Webex with BeamRing users can take advantage of either a mobile phone or computer app.
Webex Desktop App
With the help of a headset, the Webex computer app enables users to access the BeamRing cloud phone system from a desktop or laptop computer – great for those that work from home, need to easily type whilst talking or simply don’t require a traditional phone handset.
Download the Desktop Webex App
When the Beaming team sets up Webex with BeamRing, you will be sent an email containing a download link and another with your log in details. If you’ve misplaced the email with the link, get in touch with our support team and they’ll provide you with the file you need.
Once you have installed the app you’ll be prompted to agree to terms and conditions, then to log in using the details you’ve been provided with from Beaming. Once you’ve logged in, you’re ready to make and take calls, check your voicemail and more.
Webex Mobile App
The Webex mobile phone app turns your smartphone into an extension of your company’s phone system, so you can take, make and field calls in the same way you would in the office, wherever you are.
Download the Webex Phone App for iOS (Apple iPhone)
1. On your mobile phone, open the App Store icon.
2. Search “Webex” and choose the Webex App from Cisco (not Webex Meetings). 
3. Download the app.
4. Log in using the details you have been provided with and you’re ready to go – any calls received on the BeamRing system will ring on both your desk and mobile phone until you answer, and calls made through the app will present as if from your usual workplace phone number.

1. On your mobile phone, open the Google Play Store. 
2. Search “Webex” and choose the Webex App from Cisco (not Webex Meetings).
