BeamRing IP29G – How do I transfer a call?

The BeamRing cloud phone solution provides you with multiple ways to transfer a call
Attended Call Transfer using the enterprise directory or extension monitor keys:
- Press the button or the Hold soft key during a conversation. This places the call on hold. The first party will hear your music on hold.
- Press the New Call soft key and then enter the number of the 2nd party or press the Directory soft key or BeamRing Plus Users may press the user’s extension monitor key.
- When the second party answers and is ready to take the call, advise the 2nd party to hang up and that you’ll be putting the caller through to them.
- BeamRing Plus Users may press the user’s extension monitor key and the caller will be immediately transferred. Otherwise you can press the Transfer soft key to browse to the enterprise directory, navigate to the required entry and press the Send soft key twice.
Attended Call Transfer using the extension number:
- Press the (transfer) button or the Transfer soft key during a conversation. This places the call on hold. The first party will hear your music on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer to and press the Send soft key.
- When the second party answers and is ready to take the call press the (transfer) button again or press the Transfer soft key. The call is now transferred to the second party.
Note: If the second party does not wish to take the call then press the End Call soft key followed by the Resume soft key to return to the original party.
Semi-Attended Call Transfer:
- Press the (transfer) button or the Transfer soft key during a conversation. This places the call on hold. The first party will hear your music on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer to and press the Send soft key.
- When you hear the ringing tone of the second party press the (transfer) button again or press the Transfer soft key. The call is now transferred to the second party. The first party will now hear the ringing tone of the second party until they answer or the call is routed to their voicemail service.
Blind Call Transfer:
- Press the (transfer) button or the Transfer soft key during a conversation. This places the call on hold. The first party will hear your music on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer to and press the Send soft key.
- Press the (transfer) button again or press the Transfer soft key. The call is now transferred to the second party. The first party will now hear the ringing tone of the second party until they answer or the call is routed to their voicemail service.
