Roselands Heating finds phone system upgrade a breeze
Since 1972, Roselands Heating has provided a broad portfolio of commercial heating services. Organisations, including offices, schools, and National Trust properties, rely on Roselands for tailored, convenient, and high-quality commercial heating services.
The phone is an integral part of how this busy business operates, and it’s vital that it’s easy to use and works – always.
Challenge
Steve Burgum, Managing Director at Roselands Heating, was aware of the upcoming digital switchover and knew that their old analogue phone system would need to be changed in the next couple of years. But running a business that relies on the phone to be able to provide excellent service to their customers, it was a concern that upgrading their technology would be a hassle they didn’t have time to face.
However, faults and phone line drop-outs on their analogue phone system were becoming more frequent and the delays in getting an engineer to fix these were getting longer. This led to Steve making the decision that now was the time for Roselands Heating to upgrade its phone system.
Solution
Roselands choose to upgrade to the BeamRing cloud phone system.
Beaming are experts in project managing smooth migrations and as BeamRing is cloud-hosted, everything can be managed remotely behind the scenes. The telephone handsets are pre-configured before arriving on-site, so the installation is very simple with minimal inconvenience.
Beaming also installed a business-grade broadband connection to ensure reliable and well-managed connectivity to ensure calls are of great quality.
Results
The Beaming engineer planned and guided Roselands Heating through the installation so that on the go-live day there was no downtime.
The new phone handsets are very easy to use and staff have experienced no problems adapting, overcoming Steve’s concern of the hassle change would cause.
Steve is happy using their new desk phone solution. Although he knows that they have the option of using the BeamRing App if they ever need it in the future.
The overall results are that Roselands Heating can continue working hard for their customers, knowing that call drop-out and faults are a thing of the past and be content they are prepared ahead of the ISDN switch-off.
