Business Development Manager – Chatham

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to be instrumental in achieving our growth plans.

The best candidate will be a personable self-starter, target driven and with a proven track record in B2B sales with at least ten years’ experience in the telecoms or tech sector, where they will have successfully hit their goals. Salary £35k – £40K per annum basic with OTE £60K uncapped.

The job is:

• To deliver managed services and connectivity sales by achieving a target of £310,000 pa revenue through selling recurring products and services to businesses
• To prospect and generate own qualified sales leads and meet customers face to face
• To build relationships with potential customers in various sectors, network with businesses and support Beaming’s marketing initiatives
• To have a good understanding of the market and to keep up to date with technology
• To be really interested in how businesses work and come up with sales strategies

Skills and experience required:

• Ability to prospect effectively (to generate own leads and have a track record of doing so)
• Ability to overcome client objections, question effectively, match and explain features and benefits of Beaming and our services
• Must be able to show an excellent understanding of the benefits of technology and how to apply these to the client’s environment
• Good communicator who can build rapport with a client quickly and a keen listener
• Commercially aware
• UK driver’s licence required for travel to customer meetings.
