Radio Tech Con 2019
On Monday the 25th of November we’ll be heading to IET London: Savoy Place to take part in this year’s Radio Tech Con. It’s an event that’s all about the technical side of broadcasting where engineers, technologists, programme-makers and managers gather to take a deep dive into the technical challenges and opportunities facing the radio and audio industry.
You’ll be able to find us in the Exhibition area, where there’s plenty of coffee all day and cake in the afternoon. Beaming will be exhibiting alongside our partners at SystemBase, presenting our innovative studio to transmitter link, StudioNet.
StudioNet is an STL that combines Beaming’s expertise in building and operating fast, resilient internet networks with SystemBase’s ability to reliably transport high-quality audio streams through IP infrastructure. It allows radio stations to deliver the highest quality audio possible through FM broadcasting and ensures the service will never go off air.
Meet us on stand number 6 (handily placed right by the refreshments table) and ask about how we helped DC Thomson Media’s Wave FM improve the quality & reliability of their service, increase broadcast range and make significant cost savings.
One of the day’s speaker sessions concerns the technical future of radio, so if you’re itching to continue the debate we’d love to hear about the challenges you’re facing or expect to come up against in the future and explain how our StudioNet solution may play a part in your radio broadcasting.
If you can’t make it on the day, find out more about StudioNet here or see how we helped Wave FM.
